Story
I am in a fantastic ladies book and gin club, called, 50 bar1, named because orignally we were all 50+ apart from 1. We meet regularly and laugh loads together but we also support each other through very difficult times. We have chosen to support the Sue Ryder hospice because several of our members have lost loved ones, that were cared for at the hospice and we are all so grateful to them for their support.
On 9th May at 2pm, my husband will shave off my hair, he is looking forward to this far too much! As requested by people that have already donated, I will get a Mohican first and then spray it pink. My husband, very sweetly suggested, I go to the shops and into school (I'm a headteacher) with the keyworker children, during lockdown before the final shave. I said I would if we could raise £1000! My son, is in lockdown with us, and he will film the event live on Facebook at 2pm.
