My wonderful wife Julie is currently undergoing treatment after a bowel cancer diagnosis in late 2021. I wanted to take positive action in support of the Bowel Cancer UK charity and so I will be taking on the Great North Run to raise funds for this incredible charity. 

Bowel Cancer UK fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.They are dedicated to stopping  people dying of bowel cancer.
