Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I decided to cut off my dreads to raise money for CHAS in memory of Alice Morrison.  Alice was the daughter of good friends of mine, Alan and Megan, who sadly passed away last month only 2 weeks after she was born.

The people at CHAS provide a wonderful service and their help and support allowed Alice to live with at home with her family for that short time.

CHAS are the only provider in Scotland of hospice services for children and their care services cost £25,000 a day to run.  To find out more, visit their website at http://www.chas.org.uk/

We're Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). We care for children throughout Scotland with life-shortening conditions and their families. We make sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief, we're determined that joy lives on.
