Story
Recently I've been so fortunate to experience benevolent care and meet incredibly inspiring people. I have been supported in challenges a from my SUPER DOOPER family, beyond FABULOUS friends, UBER CLEVER health care professionals, nurses who have hearts made of rainbows and bunny rabbits and most touching of all fellow patients and strangers who should be awarded every bravery medal kicking around.
I'm currently ad midst the biggest fisty cuff of my life, it's required all the gusto I have. I wouldn't have been able to withstand the blow if it wasn't for the compassion and care of others. I feel so grateful and feel that I can't possibly repay the good vibes visa debt. So as a small token I wish to give what I can so I'm shaving my locks for children who have lost their hair to terminal illness.
I tend to waffle on a bit so in short - I'm shaving my head so that the hair maybe used to make wigs for terminally ill children whom have lost their hair during battle. I also will be raising money for the fund, so I would love it if "you could spare a quid, so I can get my hair did and help a sick kid".
I have had many hairstyles/cuts/dies and quiffs to the point where you would swear I was in witness relocation. I have used my hair to identify myself and now I intend to make the boldness statement I can. With a shaved head I wish to learn to throw away vanity and learn compassion. I wish to try and relate to loss and show my solidarity to those who don't have a choice. Some days I might get wiggy with it and try a new look but i want to show my elected baldness as support and gratitude to those who have inspired me so much and without reason have no choice but to stick it out and fight.
Please if you could spare some clams or send these narly vibes to your fellow friends, so together we can help in some small way. Not to sound like Miss. America but some world peace and paying it forward would be aces and spades.
Love you all, honest I really do xx
Peace
Brides
