When my husband was diagnosed with severe ME four years ago, our lives both changed forever.  This debilitating condition is enormously tough to manage, extremely painful, highly misunderstood and most people do not recover from it.  I'll be training hard during January and February to complete this race, as the Invest in ME Research charity is leading the way in finding out why this disease affects millions of people worldwide, with the aim of developing a successful treatment or even a cure.  This is an exciting time for ME research, but the disease is still pitifully underfunded, so it's time to shake things up and jump up to the challenge.  I'd love it if you could spare a small contribution to help me achieve my target, so perhaps one day my husband can sell his wheelchair, be out of pain and seize life with vitality again.
