On March 11th 2018 at The Old Market in Brighton people of Brighton & beyond will unite to use their collective love for singing and their desire to make a difference to people's lives, by raising money for a chosen charity.
As a nation we are captivated and inspired by watching choirs and singing groups in action on the TV. Brighton Sings UK knows our participants will already be excited about the idea of singing popular four-part harmony songs or attending a live mass choir performance and we will harness that energy to raise money for Mind in Brighton & Hove.
Mind provides help and support directly to those who need it most. Their network of more than 140 local Minds offer specialised support and care based on the needs of the communities they support. They believe everyone with a mental health problem should be able to access excellent care and services. They also believe you should be treated fairly, positively and with respect.
Our fundraising event welcomes a wide range of ages and backgrounds of people who may or may not already sing in choirs. Comprehensive resources will support their independent learning as well as workshops for a collaborative experience prior to the main event.
This event will provide a thrilling and supportive experience for all participants that will exhilarate hearts, inspire minds and engender a love of communal singing to the benefit of the community. Join and sing with us or make a donation here.
