You can use this page to support your teacher, friend or
family member who is doing something special over the next few months to fund the education of 300 pupils in Bak Kae Village in Cambodia
A child born to a mother who can read is twice as likely to
live past the age of 5. One in four adults in Cambodia cannot read. These are some of the reasons why we are supporting the UN’s goal of educating all children by 2030.
The British School of Paris has already raised over 30,000 euros to build a school in Bak Kae which is on the Cambodian / Laos border. Our next challenge is to fund the running of this school for the next three years. Our target is to raise 7,000 euros. Staff, pupils and parents are continuing their fundraising efforts by taking part in different events. This page will be used to pool all these efforts.
May ‘68’ - Four staff who all turn 50 this year are aiming to cycle from Paris to London and back in 50 hours. They leave on Friday 18th May and return on Sunday 20th May. A mammoth task for a “fit” but aging group. Can you spot your teacher in this group? See picture below.
May 27th - A number of BSP students will be taking in a 10KM / 5KM run between Chatou and St Germain along the banks of the Seine. You can donate here to support your child, parent or friends.
