On January 25th, The Basement Bar will be declaring its independence and celebrating all things Scottish. We will be holding a Burns Night Charity Cabaret, with all proceeds going to Plan UK.

To honour the great Robbie Burns that little bit more, the staff at City Screen will also spend the entire month of January growing "Burns for Burns". We're hoping for sideburns of all shapes and sizes and we've even been promised kiss-curls from the more follicly challenged.

Best of all, it's for a really great cause. Plan UK provide clean drinking water and good sanitation to some of the poorest communities in the world. Check out our main fundraising page for them here.
