Thank you for taking the time to find out about my #APEXcarry Prize Draw, which is part of the Ukraine Appeal Online Charity Market organised by Peddle and Tresstle. 

My #APEXcarry Prize Draw aims to raise funds for Choose Love's work with refugees and displaced people from war-torn Ukraine, where the situation is beyond desperate and heartbreaking.

Choose Love

Choose Love  does whatever it takes to identify, close & prevent gaps in services and protections for refugees & displaced people. They  work fast, flexibly & creatively to provide what is needed today, not tomorrow. 

They campaign for the right to seek safety &  aim to change the narrative around forced migration so people don't face hostility & discrimination, but are met instead with love.

Choose Love works with, and fundraises for, partner organisations on key migration routes, supporting them at 3 key stages: 1) emergency response; 2) daily survival; 3) securing futures. 

At this time, their work with people so brutally displaced within and from Ukraine is so very crucial.. thank you for whatever you feel able to donate. It's really appreciated. 

The #APEXcarry Prize Draw

It's easy to feel totally powerless in the face of such an appalling situation as that unfolding in Ukraine over the last few weeks. I felt one thing I could do was raise funds by selling some of my creations.

Specifically, I'm selling the #APEXcarry and #APEXpouches, made wholly from upcycled fabrics [except for the zips], to raise funds for refugees, initially from Ukraine.  I have already raised and donated £270, raised by sales to my email list. But I know I can raise more, with your help. 

Joe and Matthew's old jeans, their unwanted shirts and a duvet cover,  some waste furnishing fabric and my own botanical prints  on upcycled linen have all been used to create this new collection of bags and pouches. So it's discarded stuff put to good use twice over, rather than tossed in the bin and on to landfill.

The #APEXcarry offered in this PRIZE DRAW normally sells for £75. The winner will be drawn at midnight on Sunday April 24th 2022, and notified the next day. 

You can enter the PRIZE DRAW by making a donation, BUT:

1.  please note that the Gift AID option is NOT available for Prize Draws. 

2. please make sure that you tick the option to give me your details, or I won't know who you are, and won't therefore be able to enter you into the Prize Draw!

3. There is also the option to enter the Prize Draw WITHOUT making a donation [see below].
