My colleague Simon Young and I are giving up our beds for the night to help raise money for those who do not have one. 

Working in the city centre means that seeing people sitting and sleeping in shop doorways and outside supermarkets is a common sight for us both. Homelessness has become part of our 'norm', but it is not something to just ignore. Our sleeping on the streets can in no way compare to what the homeless are actually going through; but if we can raise a little money to help raise more awareness of this important cause, then this is something we are more than happy to do.
