Story
So we've just got over the saddle soreness from our last charity event and at the end of 2017, whilst basking in the glory of the London-Surrey ride (we somehow managed to complete last August), we thought it might be good to set ourselves a new challenge for this year. Drum roll please!.....London to Brighton 2018! Seemed like a good idea at the time, however 3 months on (with very little training under our belts), we're beginning to realise the extent of what we might be taking on!
With only 3 months left to the big day this is where you come in! We will be joining thousands of other cyclists startling at London Clapham Common and taking on a 56 mile route to Brighton seafront, and if the rumours are true this ends with a bit of a climb! This will be our longest bike ride yet.....We would be so grateful of any support or donation you can make as this will really encourage us to get off our backsides and embrace our achey limbs for this wonderful cause.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help hit our target.
With much love from your favourite cycling duo thats always short of a breath, never short of a smile!
