Hi everyone, I am completing the virtual VHI Women's Mini Marathon, this year between the 1st - 10th of October. I have chosen to fundraise for St. James's Hospital, as on the 6th of April 2020, my husband Roslan was admitted to the ICU department after contracting COVID 19. Unfortunately, with having the virus, he also suffered 2 strokes, so he is now in the rehab unit in St. James's. Throughout this entire ordeal, Roslan has received the best of care from the entire staff, and I feel like they are now an extended part of our family. The staff are so dedicated to their jobs, it is more like a vocation to them, they truly are remarkable. It will be bitter sweet doing the marathon this year, as I love competing in the marathon, but I always have Roslan waiting for me at the finishing line,  but I know he will be cheering me on from his hospital bed.
