We support people living with diabetes to help stay well until a cure is found

Story

2 years ago, Tom, Cam and a few others cycled to Edinburgh for DRWF. Since then, they've forgotten the pain and suffering enough to sign up for another monster ride!

On the 29th of May, 5 of us will be cycling the RideLondon Essex 100. The ride is 100miles – taking us from London, through Essex and back again – and it'll be a gruelling 6-7 hours on the saddle (for Cammy anyway).

Secondly, Es and Cam will be climbing Kilimanjaro from 17th-26th June. This is an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to climb one of the highest mountains in the world, whilst adding the complexity of diabetes at altitude. Excited and apprehensive to say the least!

Cammy has been a type 1 diabetic since 2001. Since then, there have been incredible developments in technology. DRWF do an amazing job running events and funding research to further the understanding of this autoimmune illness.

Hit the link below to to sponsor Cam and his friends as they take on some big challenges over the next month!

Thank you! Wish us luck...
