Story
This April, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of World Land Trust.
I’m much more likely to be found hiking up a mountain or exploring the outdoors than I am running on roads (or any kind of long distance!) But I love a challenge, and this felt like the right one to take on.
Spending time in nature has shaped so much of who I am. Being outdoors constantly reminds me how important it is to protect the wild places and wildlife that make those experiences possible.
Through El Camino, our community has already helped raise over £20,000 for World Land Trust and their vital conservation work, helping to protect threatened habitats and species around the world. I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to do together. Running this half marathon feels like a personal extension of that, stepping outside my comfort zone to give back in a more hands on way.
For me, this isn’t about chasing a fast time. It’s about pushing myself in support of something bigger, protecting the landscapes that inspire so many of our adventures and memories.
If you’d like to support my run, any contribution — big or small — will go directly towards helping protect wild places for future generations.
Every £100 raised saves 1 acre of threatened land.
Thank you so much for being part of the journey 💛
