On October 8th 2017 I will be running the Bournemouth Half Marathon To raise money for the Intensive Care Unit at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, in September last year my dad and step mum came down to visit me and Kirrie in Bournemouth but whilst out running my dad collapsed and had a heart attack.

After spending 3 weeks in a coma in Intensive Care at RBCH and many ups and downs he eventually regained consciousness and started to make a remarkable recovery. None of this would have been possible without the amazing staff that treated him from day 1 till the day he was released from hospital and I want to raise money for the department to say a big thanks to all the staff for saving my dads life.
