Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am doing this as the charity is very close to my heart, because on 29th January 2016 Isabelle my daughter who was 1 at the time was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease.
Isabelle was one of the lucky ones even though she had an aneurysm, which has cleared up on its own, many children still die of the disease every year.
More people need to know about this disease, I have chosen to do it on World Heart Day. My friend Adele is going to be cutting it at Liam James the Babers, Eaglescliffe.
Please help me raise as much money as possible to help with the research as we still don't how it is caused and what the full after effects are.
Kawasaki Disease has a range of symptoms including a characteristic and distinctively persistent high fever for five days or more, rash,
bloodshot eyes, “strawberry” tongue, cracked, dry lips, redness of the fingers and toes. If a child has a persistent fever together with two or more of these symptoms, THINK Kawasaki Disease.
