On Thursday 4th October I will be one of 32 models in the Breast Cancer Care fashion show at Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster which will be my first time ever on a professional catwalk and I'm soooo excited!  All of the models who take part in this special event, like me, have had a diagnosis of breast cancer. The Show is an amazing occasion of fashion, fundraising and inspiration proving that you can look and feel great after a diagnosis of breast cancer.  Last year’s show was a fantastic event raising over £370,000 and this money made a vital difference to Breast Cancer Care. The reality is that there are more than half a million people in the UK today who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and every year another 60,000 hear the devastating news that they have the disease. Thanks to the generosity of people like you supporting The Show, Breast Cancer Care is here for every one of them, providing expert information and skilled emotional and practical support when it’s needed most and running local courses like Moving Forward which, as the name implies, helps post-breast cancer patients deal with what happens when they've finished treatment.  I'm sure everyone of you reading this knows of someone who has been diagnosed - so thank you for sponsoring me and showing your support, not only for me but for others who follow in my footsteps.
