Story

My son Ryan was seriously injured in a road traffic accident in Devon on 26th January 2016. He was taken to Derriford Hospital Intensive Care where he was unconscious for 7 days and on life support for several days. He sustained a brain injury and we weren't given any promises for a good recovery.  Derriford Hospital Intensive Care were wonderful and helped Ryan to make a good start on his recovery.  He has made an "amazing" recovery - not my words, the consultant's words and continues to improve.  I am so grateful to Derriford Hospital Intensive Care. Ryan is abseiling with me on 31st July.
