Story
2020 has brought an extraordinary set of circumstances. We were thrilled by the approval of Kaftrio, a ground-breaking new drug. This undoubtably is changing so many lives for the better.
However, does the arrival of Kaftrio mean that we have won the war against Cystic Fibrosis? Sadly not; as not everyone with CF will benefit from this new drug, but we cannot, and will not leave anyone behind in our fight for all those with cystic fibrosis.
Research works, but there is still so much work to do.
This year, for the first time Carols by Candlelight will be online. You are all invited to attend, and we hope you’ll join us, and some famous faces, from the comfort of your own home. The Winchester College Chapel Choir will be recording their carols from the legendary Abbey Road Studios!
Tickets will be available from 1 November here: https://register.enthuse.com/ps/event/CarolsbyCandlelight2020
We are also appealing to you to give generously by making a donation this Christmas at a time when the Cystic Fibrosis Trust needs your support more than ever; to continue its vital work to make a better future for so many people with CF and their families.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
