Sadly in July this year, after a long battle with cervical cancer, my best friend passed away. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, godmother and friend and was only 31 years old. She put up an incredible fight and didn’t give up until the very end. In honour of Carrie and her brave fight I wanted to raise some money and awareness for cervical cancer. 

Carrie’s husband designed a CrossFit WOD in memory of her and this will be our challenge as a team (myself, Bryn Dixon, Stacey Lumbard, Frank Lumbard, Laura Best, Jamie Best):

Complete the Carrie WOD for 27 hours continuously, one person after the other. 1 hour for every month that she suffered with cancer. We will start at 8am on Saturday 31st October, finishing on Sunday 1st November at 11am.
