We're walking to Ohakune, New Zealand - the home of world's largest model carrot - to raise much needed funds for the Children's Adventure Farm Trust!

Ohakune is 11,452 miles away and we've given ourselves from 1st April until Christmas Eve to get there....and back again! 

That's a total of 22,904 miles we've got to cover! 

Between the 24 employees at Carrot Pharma, we'll walk, run, swim and cycle our way to this small town on the North Island of NZ. 

On the 23rd October, the whole team here at Carrot took on a windy Snowdon summit - adding some considerable miles to our total while having the most amazing time!

What's next to challenge our Carrots...?

The work The Children's Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) do is incredible, offering disabled and disadvantaged children the opportunity of a holiday away from home. The Farm includes adapted accommodation, sports hall, adapted park and farm animals, all set within beautiful Cheshire countryside. We're looking to raise much needed funds to help improve their Sensory Room - anything you can give in way of donation will be hugely appreciated by both ourselves at Carrot Pharma and the staff and children at CAFT.

So far, we've raised funds for CAFT via the following activities: 

Jenny Downing ran the York 10k

Martin Anderson cycled 100 miles in the Velo Birmingham 100

Hayley Shayestehroo ran the Manchester Marathon

We took part in It's a Knockout

Louise Lavelle, Owen Heyworth and Hayley Shayestehroo all ran the Manchester Half Marathon

The Carrot Pharma team took on a very windy Snowdon to climb to the summit
