Story

On May 4th, my 14 year old brother Phoenix was struck by a car. He was airlifted to St Georges hospital with a severe head injury and multiple other injuries. Although he has been incredibly brave and surprassed the initial 5 critical days,  we have been told that his brain trauma is in fact life changing. Although, at this moment in time we cannot determine the life changing affects this incident will have on his life and ours until he is awake. Phoenix is still  in intensive care fighting like the solider we all know he is.

I am incredibly thankful to all the emergency services who were on scene from Surrey Police to South East Coast Ambulance Service. I thank you for the continuous care and support to all my brother,  myself and family.  I want to thank St Georges hospital, especially the paediatric Intensive Care Unit for everything they are doing for my brother to reach the best possible outcome. As well as the support they have provided for my parents to enable them to stay by his bedside.

From finishing my degree at St Georges University last year, i never once thought i would be there to visit my brother. Hold your loved ones close and tell them that you love them as life takes unexpected turns. I am choosing to walk the London Half Marathon as my  way of thanking St Georges Hospital for everything they have done and are doing for not only my family, but others alike.

Thank you for reading about Phoenix's story and i thank you for all the support and donations for such a great cause. The smallest donations are forever thankful, if you are unable to donate,  a share would mean the world 🌎💗.

We are all here for you Phoenix and waiting patiently for you to recover and wake. We love you.
