Story

My best mate (Mike) and I will be attempting to cycle up four well-known mountain climbs from the Tour de France - Col du Galibier, Alpe d'Huez, Col de la Croix de Fer and Col du Glandon. To see what we are up against please take a look at the photos and profiles of the climbs in the "My gallery" section below. The big one will be the Col du Galibier which, at 8678 feet, is the second highest climb on the Tour de France.

We are embarking on this challenge  to raise money for DASH. DASH is a small Swindon-based charity that helps young adults with Aspergers Syndrome (a form of autism) lead happier and more fulfilling lives. DASH have really helped my daughter, Laura, gain confidence in social situations. As with many charities DASH is short of funds and desparately needs your donations so that it can continue its good work. Every pound raised will have a real positive benefit.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
