We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Castleview Primary School Family is committed to raising awareness of living a healthy lifestyle. We are conscious that cancer survival rates can be helped by good diet and exercise. One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lives and we are aware that people close to us have been affected by cancer including Lindsey Watt our Head Teacher, who to date has had three NHS operations to eliminate her kidney cancer. Cancer Research has achieved amazing things with more people surviving cancer than ever before but they need funds to continue their life saving research which helps to cure all forms of cancer.

P3 - P7 Pupils and staff (including 59 year old Ms Watt!) will be participating in a Mini Race for Life in three groups on Friday 26th May. Group 1's race with P7 and P3 will begin at 9.10am, Group 2's race with P5 and P3/4 will begin at 9.40am and Group 3 with P6 and P4 will begin at 11.00am . The route will be approximately 800m long.

Parents, Carers and Friends of Castleview are most welcome to support or take part and Team Castleview would be most grateful if you could share this link on social media to ensure that we meet or exceed our fundraising target of £350.
