Vegan January” alongside “Dry January” and also “I aim to walk at least 60 miles per week” for the whole of January . These three things are for two reasons. “OCD action” charity

 I haven’t just plucked this charity randomly... I have a very important reason for picking this particular charity. Paul and I have a very special and wonderfully loved family member who suffers very badly with “Pure OCD”, and has done so since he was 9 years of age. It’s been very tough for all of us since that time and it’s still ongoing. This heartbreaking mental health disorder is both frightening and exhausting for the sufferer. It can tear their life apart but also puts huge pressure on the immediate family. There is limited funding for mental health as it stands,but a lack of knowledge about how to alleviate symptoms regarding OCD is particularly frustrating. Immediate support for the patient is paramount during panic attacks and support for the surrounding family is something that rarely exists but is needed so badly.
OCD is not only a hand washing, tidying and “fear of standing on pavement cracks” disorder......It can be much more complicated than that.

I’d really like to raise some money to raise awareness of this debilitating disorder and also to help these children receive help as soon as symptoms appear, rather than many years down the line, having gone untreated.
