On the 31^st of July, a team of carefully selected Cathcart Associates employees will be competing in The Business Fives Technology Football Event to raise money for Prostate Scotland.

Business Fives is Scotland’s Business five-a-side football tournament. Their popularity has grown immensely since launching 2 years ago and have now raised over £40,000 with over 350 Scottish companies participating. The events allow businesses to promote a healthy lifestyle to their employees while also raising money for their chosen charity.

Last years winners came out on top against 100 other companies and took home over £3,000 for their charity.

Our team at Cathcart Associates have decided on Prostate Scotland as our chosen charity this year.   

Prostate cancer, one of the most common cancer of males in Scotland, and prostate diseases are often not talked about, with majority of the symptoms going unnoticed. In a recent survey, over 50% of men involved did not know the symptoms of prostate disease or where the prostate is even located.

Prostate disease will affect almost 1 in 2 men in Scotland at some time in their lives, with 1 in 10 men at risk from prostate cancer.

Despite prostate cancer being projected to have increased by 35% by 2026, the survival rate has risen to 80% but with your help this can be increased to an even higher percentage.
