I will be running 42 miles during May - 1 mile for each of our residents. 

As many of you know I work for a small non-profit making organisation that supports adults with severe and enduring mental illnesses. We were rated Outstanding by CQC in December 2019. 

At Avondale we are currently providing 24hour mental health nursing care for 42 residents. Due to the current covid-19 pandemic we are unable to accept new admissions or complete any of our usual fundraising activities. We rely on these things to be able to provide much needed things such as activities and days out for our residents (when times allow). 

For many of our residents these things are a lifeline and provide much needed respite from their daily routine. Funds raised will help support our service during these difficult times and also go towards ensuring we can keep on providing our amazing service for those who need it most.
