I am very lucky to have received a last minute charity place to run the London Marathon after missing out on the ballot, I am raising money for a fantastic local independent Gosport based charity who support people affected by cancer across South East Hampshire (charity number 1102055).

This charity is so very close to my heart for many personal reasons, 
we all know someone who is bravely fighting hard or sadly has lost the fight to cancer. 

As a self-funded charity which receives no external funding they rely greatly on fundraising. The centre based in Gosport opened in 2001 and offers a safe haven for cancer patients, their families, carers and friends to come and spend time in a warm and welcoming environment, in which they can receive much needed support throughout their cancer journey.
