On 14th Dec I'm performing MODERN GIRL 1895 in aid of MY BODY BACK PROJECT. The show is based on a Victorian 'agony' column I discovered. Reading between the lines (and statistically), many of the women asking for advice would have suffered sexual violence. Most would never have sought help. The Victorian women I bring to life in the show would be proud of how far we've come, but also saddened that despite progress there's still a need for the service MY BODY BACK provides.

I'm going to be researching and adding a Victorian cabaret act to the show - probably not as extreme as sword swallowing; maybe a bit of mesmerism...
