Thank you for reading Natalia's story.
March 26th world wide is purple day. It is to raise awareness for epilepsy.
Natalia is 5 year years old. She was born with brain damage/malformation. One of the main symptoms of this is epilepsy. Her seizures are still not under control even with medication. We are on the last meds combination as due to her brain damage she is limited in what medication can be used.
Every year we fundraise for an epilepsy charity. This year we have chosen epilepsy sucks uk again because the support and advice they have given us is priceless.
We are doing a sponsored 7km walk on Saturday 30th march with Natalia. Everyone is welcome to join us. Walk details to follow.
We will also be holding a pub quiz (date and venue to be confimed) and an online raffle.
Epilepsy Sucks UK offers support for anyone affected by epilepsy. They also help by funding sleep safe pillows to help prevent SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy).
Thank you to everyone who supported us last year.
