Last year was a rubbish year for many people, we lost Jason Denham to cancer, Dave Dawson lost his partner to cancer and Emslie & Sally lost their beautiful 22 month son Thomas to a sudden unexplained death.

Several charities have helped and supported the people who were ill and their families, these are Macmillan Cancer Support and SUDS (Sudden Unexplained Death in Children) so I am raising money for both of these causes.

The event I am doing is the Great South Run.  I am not a runner, I am not fit, I have calf tears - all this is nothing compared to what these others have gone through.  I will complete it.
