This will be my third solo ride for charity - the first two were John O'Groats/Land's End and Leicester to the Mediterranean. I hadn't originally intended to do this ride as a fundraiser, but old habits are hard to break! It's around 500 miles from the geographic centre of England (Meriden, near Solihull) to its French counterpart (Bruere-Allichamps). Spread 0ver 10 days it's not a huge challenge, except that I've barely ridden 500 miles in the last 12 months...

I set off on Tuesday 22 July 2014 and hope to arrive in Bruere-Allichamps on Tuesday/Wednesday 29/30 July. I've chosen Macmillan as they were very good to my sister when she was terminally ill with ovarian cancer. Please find a fiver to help them help others
