We offer local support services to people with mental health problems

Story

We are officially 2 years old!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped us, supported us, donated or sponsored us, for connecting with us or for helping us connect to others. We’ve done lots over the last 2+ years and there’s a few things that keeps us doing the work we do..

The first thing is doing what we love; whether organising picnics or history events, get-togethers, celebrations, community inspired goings on..

The second thing is each person we help; it could be as little as an event they would not of attended, a small business they perhaps may not of started, a new connection someone made, a re found hobby or inspiration when you may need it most, a little hope, a little encouragement..

While CGC aimed to connect the community, our underlining objectives were to inspire inclusion to reduce ISOLATION, helping to improve the overall health and well-being of others. This year we have had a huge focus towards MENTAL HEALTH. While it’s important, we found people really do get by with a little help from their friends. We can’t change the past, but we can certainly try to change the future.

To help us celebrate our second birthday, we will be setting a Fundraiser for Faye. A beautiful soul who struggled with mental health, yet brought smiles and love to anyone she would meet. Let’s share her love. Donate to Mind today. You may not be able to change the world, but to one person it could change theirs.

Here’s to more years of connecting, improving and inspiring...🕯
