We are a 24 hour search & rescue service to save lives at sea

Story

Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe. RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.

Our Chairman of the Portrush and Portstewart RNLI fundraising committee,  John Martin decided to help raise funds for our lifeboat by growing his hair during lockdown and kept it going afterwards. Now the time has come to get it cut and all money raised will go towards Portrush RNLI.

The length of cut depends on amount donated!
£200 number 10 cut
£400 number 8
£500 6
£600 4
£700 3
£800 2
£1000 + 1 all over

Please donate generously so we can return our Chairman to his former self. (You can see his former self in the gallery) MAKE SURE YOU SELECT GIFT AID PLEASE

The Chaircut will take place outside the RNLI Portrush Lifeboat House at 3.00pm (Sunday 6th September) and overseeing matters will be Raft Race Compere and local entertainer Brian Moore who, with microphone on hand, will keep those listening or watching from afar informed as local media personality Sarah Travers makes the first socially distanced cut under the watchful eye of Nico who has salons in both Portstewart and Portrush and will be finishing the cut.
