Challenge12 is dancing 6 miles with LearnBurma Director Ben Hammond as part of his summer long John O'Groats to Lands End dance. All the money raised will go towards helping educate young students about Burma.
"Helping Dance Britain with its mission to bring Burma to 500 schools across the country. Learn Burma Director Ben is hard at work creating resources to accompany his challenge to inspire and engage all ages of students. Helped by the fact that in his other life he’s a lecturer in Citizenship Education at the Institute of Education, and former Head of Citizenship at Deptford Green School, south-east London, Ben is offering free primary and secondary schools and college talks throughout March, April and May, has created a ‘Take Action Top Ten’ of ways students and schools can be involved (from creating a radio message of good luck to visiting Ben on his dance marathon), and is currently writing 4 sets of activities for the classroom to deepen learning based around Burma, Human Rights, Dance and, er, himself (just typical really)"
