We are a team of Year 10 students from Ark Kings Academy in Birmingham, taking part in Envision's Community Apprentice programme which develops employability skills and confidence in young people through community participation (bit.ly/2WlSZP2).

We have chosen to raise awareness and funds for Redthread, because knife crime affects the lives of so many young people and we want to change this. Before the Coronavirus outbreak, we ran a quiz in our form groups about youth violence and also put up posters on every single classroom door in our school!

Our planned fundraising event has been cancelled due to the pandemic. However, we are still passionate about the charity and completing our project, so please help us to reach our goal and support this local cause! The page will close on 15th May 2020.
