I have volunteered at Spires for nearly 2 years, supporting vulnerable women in Lambeth. Homelessness can affect anyone at any time, which was proven to me when a dear friend of mine became homeless with nowhere to go and due to pride did not seek help from her friends. She slept on buses for 7 nights, washing in Macdonalds and walking the streets in the day until the Council provided a bedsit outside of London. You never really know how it really feels to not have a roof over your head until you experience it! So if you can please donate to my giving page or see me to help this cause as we truly do not know what is around the corner for any of us. Thank you.
