In the year that Quod turns ten, we have set ourselves a very ambitious target of fundraising £30,000 for Shelter, a registered charity that campaigns to end homelessness and bad housing in England. We are seeking to raise more than double the amount we have achieved in any previous year, which will require considerable effort from every member of Quod. We plan to cycle and run hundreds of miles, race up tower blocks, prepare and share delicious food, rattle collection buckets, and offer many hours of our time back to the community.

Shelter exists to defend the right to a safe home for individuals, in communities, and across society. Every year, they help defend the rights of millions struggling with bad housing or homelessness through advice, support and legal services. Shelter campaigns to make sure that, one day, a safe home will be a reality for everyone. We wish that the services they offer were not still required in our industry, but until such issues can be eradicated, we look forward to supporting them with funds to carry out their work.
