We provide mental health treatment to veterans from every service and conflict

Story

One man and his ferret.

Me and Bandit received such world wide kindness when we walked the length of Hadrian's Wall together for Motor Neurone disease. In total we raised just under £4000 in a couple of months. We decided our unique fund raising ability should not be limited to just one flash in the pan, but to several world wide events!

So, we've started our first international campaign! We (yes, me and the ferret) are walking from the original WW2 drop zones just outside Oosterbeck, Holland, to the world famous Arnhem bridge, where in 1944 British airborne troops fought a desperate struggle against overwhelming German forces.

I personally, being ex Royal Air Force, have come to fully appreciate the work that veterans charities take part in. I have even been on the receiving end of mental health treatment, and due to the months of care I was given, have come to terms with my past and internal affairs. My relatively mild condition gave me an insight to what a challenging case of PTSD can feel like to the victim, which is where my passion to assist this noble charity stems from.

If the money me and Bandit raise could help just 1 ex service man or woman and their family, I would feel like the trauma I experienced was worth the passion I've gained to help end peoples suffering. So please donate to me and Bandit, and let us use your donation to help an ex serviceman in need.

Thanks! Charlie and Bandit
