Mind - The Mental Health Charity

We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Today. Now. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support and advice, and fight your corner.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I myself have struggled with mental health issues since I was 12. I was extremely lucky that as a teen I recieved treatment and support from the NHS and my family and friends. However with cuts to NHS mental health funding more people than ever are struggling to cope with mental illness.

Over the years I have watched many of my friends and family struggle with mental health issues and I have seen them waiting for months on end to receive the support and care they desperately require. Unfortunately a friend of mine lost his battle to mental illness a few years back. Like so many young people his life could have been saved.

I remember how desperately lonely mental illness can be and I want to try help this wonderful charity to continue its brilliant, lifesaving work.

I know giving money is hard at the moment when many feel the pressures of daily life, but anything you feel you can donate would go a long way to helping Mind to help those in need.
