Story
I'm raising money for Youthnet (www.youthnet.org) an online charity that offers support, advice, counselling, encouragement...hopefully inspiration to young people between the ages of 16-25. Young people often feel excluded from society and have to deal with issues concerning relationships, homelessness, unemployment, drug addiction, mental health problems, on their own. Youthnet aims, through counselling, signposting and supplying accurate and timely information, to reach and inspire these young people to be the best that they can be.
I'm also one of those people who said "I'd like to run a marathon before I'm 30"!!!! and now 30 is only 6 months away so I have no excuse. So here I am...a little unnerved that I've got to up my casual 5 mile runs to 10, 15 and 26.2 mile runs...
A massive thanks to all those that came along to the St Valentines Day Massacre, on Saturday 13th February. We managed to raise $170 towards my target and it was a pretty awesome night too. The wheel of misfortune was a great money spinner (?) and the kissing booth, lip smacking good fun!!!! (sorry couldn't resist some dire puns)
