Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are the Charnwood Mayoralty, walking for Marie Curie. We consist of The Mayor for 2021/2022, Cllr Paul Baines, the Mayoress, Dr Ning Baines, Cllr Deborah Taylor, and staff at Charnwood Borough Council including: Karen Widdowson and Laura Knights. Marie Curie are passionate about caring for people with terminal illnesses. In the UK, a person dies every minute d Marie Curie's mission is to support the people affected to get the help and compassion they need at this critical stage in their lives. This demanding walk is of marathon proportions, up and down the Peak District's High Peak Loop. Please sponsor us so we can help Marie Curie continue to deliver its vital work, providing people with the best possible end of life experience.
