Sooooo I've never done something like this before, many of you will know that I am not a long distance runner and am prone to turning into a beetroot just running for a bus, however this July I will be running a whole 10 kilometers, that's a 1/10th of the way to space!!
The reason I'm putting myself through this is to help raise money to further Cancer research at the Barts Cancer Institute. This institute is massively important in cancer research, many surgical treatments and radiotherapy were first discovered and used there.
Here's a guy standing in front of a green screen to tell you more about why your donations would be important: https://youtu.be/wDWmlY7k5VY
£5 can buy a DNA sequencing test to help understand specific tumor samples
£20 can buy 100 surgical blades to allow researchers to remove and study tumor samples
£100 can buy chemicals allows for scientists to study how to block cancer growth
Any and all support is welcome, and for any of you who would like to even show up and watch me make an embarrassment of myself the race is on the 12th of July.
