One of our MFL teachers, Mrs Dennis, has just completed one year of active treatment for breast cancer at Nottingham City Hospital. As a school community, to thank all the staff at the hospital we are holding two “Stride for Life” events on Tuesday 17th July to raise money for the hospital’s Breast Institute. 

The first walk will take place on the CTK school field at 12.30 for all students and staff, and there will be a second event at 4pm for members of the public and the wider school community who wish to participate. The distance is 1km and participants can walk, run or skip their way round - the choice is entirely yours! Anyone interested in attending the afternoon race should register by calling the school office on 01159556262, or by emailing MAdams@christtheking.notts.sch.uk

After the 4pm event, afternoon tea will be served, culminating in a prize draw at 5pm.
