Both Claire Murray & Adam Theobald are working for Winkworth in Barnet and as a company we are proudly sponsoring the Summer Solstice in Barnet. This amazing charity event is in memory of Andy Weekes.

In 2006, just a few weeks after losing Andy Weekes to cancer, some of his family & close friends decided to throw a party to celebrate his life & which would have made Andy & all his family proud. On Saturday 23rd June 2007 the dream become a reality & Summer Soulstice 1 took place in the leafy London suburb of Barnet. 

6 years on & this Soul Family All-dayer has become an annual outdoor favourite amongst the locals of north London & soul music fans alike. With an all star DJ line all of those who knew or worked with Andy which raises money for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. From the outset, it was decided that the event should support local charities & organisations & our good friends at Barnet's Cherry Lodge Cancer Care to help them with their amazing work helping sufferers of the disease. Even in these difficult times, we continue to raise money with a SMILE!

Summer Soulstice 7 is scheduled to take place on Saturday 29th June 2013.

However on Winkworths part we wanted to raise money in a different way; by jumping out of a plane! So please dig deep and donate anything you can spare! Every penny counts when it come to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care.
