SCAT is a charity set up to help people with primary bone cancer, Osteosarcoma, Ewings sarcoma et al and was set up many years ago at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.(RNOH)
I worked at the RNOH for more than 11 years as the lead Sarcoma Cordinator for the London Sarcoma Service.
I worked with a fantastic team of people, the Sarcoma admin team, surgeons, clinical nurse specialists, histopathologists, radiologists and oncologists from UCLH.
Together we endeavoured to provide the best care possible for patients from all round the south east of England, many of them children and young adults.
The work the medical team do is just amazing. I loved my job and felt that I was able, along with others in the team, to make a difference to the lives of so many people.
I have retired but want to continue to make a difference by raising money for SCAT
SCAT is dedicated to the advancement of bone cancer research, to providing the best possible care and support at each stage of treatment and to improving the quality and dignity of life for all patients.
Please, please help me to continue to make a difference by making a difference yourself. No amount is too small. Thanking you in advance for being someone who cares
