In October I will be running my first marathon - in Chester. I will be trying to raise money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation - a very important local charity that specialises in the care of cancer patients. 

This charity means a lot to me, as my wonderful father - the late, great Ian Crosby - was cared for by these amazing people during the last nine months or so of his life. 

Dad may not have defeated the cancer but who is to say others can't with a little bit of extra help from us. 

It is an absolute bastard of a disease but together we can all try and kick its arse!
