Thank you so much for your support so far!!

When I made my first post on my Just Giving site almost exactly a week before the event this last Saturday (27th Jan), I had hoped to raise £250 for Charity Link. However due to very great generosity of friends, it is probable that I shall exceed this target five-fold! Thank you all very much indeed.

Mercifully the Saturday/Sunday night in question was not
particularly cold when compared to some of the weather we have experienced this winter. Despite this, it was pretty sobering to feel the damp rising out of the cobbles on which I was lying and to experience first-hand some of the discomfort felt by the homeless and dispossessed on a regular basis. 

If we have managed, perhaps only in a very small way, to draw attention to the plight of many much less fortunate than ourselves, our efforts will have been very worthwhile.

On Saturday 27th January I will be braving a night out in the cold at Charity Link's office courtyard with staff and supporters to help raise vital funds for those living in real hardship.

Due to the unique way Charity Link works, for every £60 raised on the night, Charity Link can provide beds for two local people in need.

I would be extremely grateful for your support; funds raised really do help to change lives.
