Five kittens were lucky to survive after they were dumped in a plastic bag hung on a garden gate in Ballycastle. Thought to only be only three or four weeks old, they were handed in to the Coleraine Branch of Cats Protection, where volunteers are now caring for them. A vet check ruled out any health concerns. It would appear they had not been away from their mother for very long before they were found. They will be being bottle fed, including during the night, which for five kittens takes up a lot of time to get them all fed and cleaned up.
Please consider donating towards the kittens vet bills and feeding costs to help us give these kittens the happy future they deserves. Any funds raised over and above those needed for the kittens will be used for the benefit of other cats in our care.
