I have now finished my cycle ride for the 'Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust'. My aim was to visit 40 churches. I cycled 57 miles and got to 43 churches in Bedford, Kempston and surrounding villages including as far as Turvey and Sharnbrook. 

Unfortunately none of the churches were open, so no biscuits to keep me going. The weather though was perfect for cycling, warm but not too hot and it didn't rain!

Many thanks to those who have donated. For those who haven't there is still time. Many of the churches I visited are centuries old, still being used for worship as they have been for hundreds of years. They are part our heritage and require maintenance to keep them in good repair. Please support the work of the Trust and help to keep our churches for future generations.
